Today, Facebook officially launched a Page Browser that suggests Facebook Fan Pages to users based on their interests, with an interface that allows users to filter by category. Suggestions are tailored based on pages users have previously ‘Liked’. Following a new Page simply entails clicking on its icon.

This has huge implications for brands. On one hand, it simplifies the way of finding brand pages that might align to your interests, hence helping spur Page growth. On the other, it may disproportionately help the Pages that already have large numbers of fans. It may also create confusion for the brands with multiple uncoordinated Facebook pages.
